This Hotel is perfect for visiting the city. The staff are very friendly and helpful and have a secure room for you to leave your cases if you arrive early. Although it does not have a restaurant it is surrounded be places to eat. We recommend 'The Huxley' as an excellent place to have breakfast.

+location +staff very friendly +check in went smoothly +windows really soundproof, you could barely hear noise from the street +hangers and big dresser in room also each side of the bed had a nightstand with more storage space +hairdryer was good +if needed there is in an iron in the room +supermarket literally across the street -wifi -shower was a bit complicated to use as it included a bathtub -overall we felt safe and comfortable if you are looking for something fancy and modern this hotel isn’t for you :-)

Great location walk8ng distance of most things but very small rooms Booked queen suite and it was not at all like it is on the website Not worth the price for such a small room Wasn't allowed to pay cash either unless you have the right amount of change

Friendly staff, the room was clean, bed was comfortable. There is an iron / ironing board and hair dryer provided in the room too which is convenient. The room also had a big radiator with thermostat in the room so very easy and quick to get warm. However, the decor is very much a budget feel, nothing flashy, frayed carpets, bit drab. Unfortunately this wasn't reflected in the premium price. You are very much paying for the location, if you don't absolutely need to be there I'd reccomend getting more bang for your buck somewhere a little less central. The big issue for me was the WiFi. My room was a phone signal dead zone (vodafone) so I was relying on the WiFi. Unfortunately it is quite temperamental to connect to (a lot of turning WiFi on and off) and even when you manage it is very slow (tested 1.5mbps) to the point its not really useable.

This hotel is really well situated right beside the west end tram stop. I was in Edinburgh for work and got multi day tram ticket and was able to get wherever I needed to be easily and back to the hotel when needs be as well This is a budget hotel and for £50 the room was fine. It was clean, if small. A separate bathroom with a decent shower. I think if you were in Edinburgh on a budget or just need a base for a couple of days meetings the hotel is clean and comfortable even if rooms are small The real benefit is location! You are near everything having the tram on your doorstep makes getting round town easy and all main atttactions are half hour to forty five minute walk
